Jan 29 -- Wildflower

Wildflower is a new trio consisting of Don Smith (our longest continuously running performer here at Sacred Grounds), Dan Heimsoth and Ceil Chappell.  Dan and Ceil formed Wildflower nearly two years ago and spent much of that time looking for just the right instrumentalist/singer to round out their sound.  They met Don in early summer, played a little music with him, and VOILA -- a trio was born!  Wildflower's music is a mix of both old and new folk/country. Performing on guitar, banjo and mandolin, they cover the music of such artists as The Carter Family, Dolly Parton, John Prine, Emmylou  Harris, Gordon Lightfoot, Tom Paxton, and Johnny & June Cash. In addition, Dan is an extraordinarily talented songwriter and has contributed a number of wonderful original tunes to their repertoire. We're honored that Wildflower has chosen Sacred Grounds for their debut performance, so please mark your calendar and plan to come out for the first appearance of what will undoubtedly be many more to come.

The mission of Sacred Grounds is to reach out to the community and provide a safe, clean, peaceful atmosphere for people to come and enjoy a good cup of coffee, music, games and fun. All concerts, drinks and desserts are by donation.  NO one will be turned away from our doors so please come and enjoy the music and fellowship.
